Bridge Map

This week is the final Thinking Map. We are working on incorporating Bridge Maps into our lesson. If you have any questions about this, please check out the email I sent and look at the pictures I attached. Remember to post about your ideas, even if they did not work according to plan.

Multi-Flow Map

This week's Thinking Map is the Multi-Flow Map. Please refer to the email I sent and look at the pictures that I attached to get some ideas. As always, please mention things that worked and also things that did not work as well.

Flow Map

This week we are using Flow Maps in our instruction and then sharing our ideas. Be sure to included both ideas that worked along with ideas that didn't work as well. I believe we can all learn from both!

Brace Map

Sorry about the delay in getting this blog posted. Again, we are working on Brace Maps this week. If you have any questions at all please consult my email and look at the pictures that I sent you. We only have a few Thinking Maps left, so keep up the good work!

Tree Map

As of 8:42am on Monday March 26, our department is completely caught up on Thinking Maps. All that we need now is for you (and me) to describe ways we are using the thinking maps in class. This week's thinking map is the Tree Map. If you have any trouble remembering what this is PLEASE refer to the email I sent explaining it. Also look at the pictures I sent, they help out.

Double Bubble Map

Ok guys, so far we're doing a pretty good job on our blogs. An email was circulated recently among the administration and it showed our Eng dept was ahead of all other departments in terms of blog posts. This week's blog is about the Double Bubble Map.

If you have any questions about the Double Bubble Map, I sent out a pretty awesome email thoroughly explaining it. Remember, this is VERY similar to a Venn Diagram, and this kind of graphic organizer is important for them to understand because they're everywhere!
